custom  lampshades

Measure your lampshade (                 for diagrams on how to properly measure your lampshade and drop). We will need measurements for the top and bottom diameter, the slant (side), and the “fitter drop” at the top of the lampshade.

We make old shades new again! If you value your vintage, designer, or heirloom lamps, but their attached lampshades have seen better days, we are here to help. We can:

Step 01.

Reline your lampshade: If the outer fabric of your lampshade is in excellent condition but the inner liner is disintegrating or torn, we will reline your lampshade and tighten then reinforce the outer fabric as needed.

Recover and reline your lampshade: If both the inner fabric and outer fabric of your lampshade are in poor condition, we will recover your shade with new fabric, similar to the existing fabric, and reline the lampshade.

Build a replacement lampshade: Instead of mailing your damaged lampshade to us, you may provide us with the exact measurements and photos of your shade and we will handcraft a replacement lampshade for you.

lampshade restorations

Take photos of your lampshade and attach them to your email. We will need a photo of the lampshade taken straight on and one photo looking straight down at the top of the lampshade so that we may determine the type of fitter.

Step 02.

Email the information to us. The price of the restoration project is determined by the size and shape of the lampshade, and the level of difficulty in sewing the shade. For example, a simple round or bell shaped lampshade would be less expensive to restore than a victorian lampshade with a scalloped bottom.

We will return your quote as soon as possible then start the ordering process.
