When your lampshade has seen better days and it’s becoming an eyesore, something has to be done. I know, I know, you look at it every day and think to yourself, “I really need to get this thing fixed!” You keep procrastinating, of course, because you really LIKE this particular shade and you’re not sure where you’ll find another like it. Or, maybe you’ve perused the selection in some of the big box stores, unable to find the proper size or fabric. And, if that’s not sad enough, you probably found the quality of the shades in those stores… lacking.

At Lampshade Connection, we will restore your old lampshade and make it “new” again using high-quality materials and fabrics, allowing you to rest easy once more! If the shape of your lampshade is ornate or unusual, you would start the process by mailing it to us so that we may use the original lampshade frame in the restoration process. Once we receive your lampshade, we lovingly return it to its former glory by making any needed repairs to the frame, sewing on new outer fabric, installing a new liner, and making and attaching new trim.

If your lampshade is a “normal” shape such as a drum, empire or bell, we can make a new replacement shade for you “from scratch,” and you would not have to mail your lampshade to us. There is an extra fee to have a new lampshade frame manufactured, HOWEVER, you would save both time and money by not having to pack and mail your old shade – a win win!
